Getting Started

Go from zero to your first automated Telegram Ads campaign in under 10 minutes.


Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Telegram channel (public, with at least a few posts)
  • A Telegram Ads account at ads.telegram.org with an organization created and funds deposited
  • An existing ad in your Telegram Ads account (or you can create one during setup)
  • A growity.ai accountsign up here if you haven't yet

Step 1: Connect Your Channel

After logging in, you'll be taken to the onboarding page. The setup has two parts:

A. Create an Organization in Telegram Ads

If you haven't already, go to ads.telegram.org, sign in with your Telegram account, and click "Create Organization". Fill in the organization name and details, then save.

B. Add Bot as Channel Administrator

  1. Open your Telegram channel settings
  2. Go to AdministratorsAdd Administrator
  3. Search for and add it
  4. Enable these permissions: Edit Messages, Invite Users via Link, Change Channel Info

Once done, click "I've completed the setup", then "Verify Connection". The system will automatically detect your channel and confirm permissions.

Step 2: Import Your First Ad

After connecting your channel, you'll proceed to campaign setup. The wizard has four steps:

  1. Select Account — choose the Telegram Ads account you want to use
  2. Import Ad — go to ads.telegram.org, open your ad, copy its URL from the address bar, and paste it. The system imports ad text and settings automatically. Alternatively, use the AI Creative Studio to generate ad text from your channel content
  3. Set Goal — set a velocity target (subscribers per day) and an optional CPA limit (maximum cost per subscriber). The system adjusts bids to reach and maintain your target
  4. Review — confirm everything and launch

Once launched, growity.ai takes over — testing target channels, adjusting bids, and converging toward your goal automatically.

Step 3: Monitor Results

Head to Analytics to track your campaign in real time:

  • Subscribers — new subscribers added per day
  • CPA — cost per subscriber (your key metric)
  • CTR — click-through rate on your ads
  • Spend — total spend and budget remaining

The system automatically pauses underperforming placements and scales winners. You'll see CPA drop as it learns which channels convert best for your audience.
