This Cookie Policy explains how growity.ai uses cookies and similar technologies, what each category does, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as local storage to remember your preferences. What this site uses falls into three groups: strictly necessary, own-site measurement, and error monitoring. Each is described below.

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These keep you signed in and the service working. They are always active because the platform cannot function without them, and they do not require consent under GDPR.

  • Session & authentication — keep you logged in and protect your account.
  • Theme & preferences — remember choices such as light or dark mode (stored in your browser's local storage).

3. Own-Site Measurement

To understand how much traffic the site gets and which source or ad brought a visit, this site counts page views with one first-party cookie. It is used for our own measurement only — there is no cross-site tracking, no profiling, and the data is never shared with or sold to anyone.

  • gw_sid — a first-party identifier (about 12 months) that distinguishes one visit from another so the same view is not counted twice. Set only on public pages, never inside the app.

Page-view counts are recorded server-side. The IP address is used in the moment to derive an approximate country and to filter bots, then truncated before storage — no raw IP is kept. Because this is strictly first-party audience measurement with no cross-site use, it runs without a consent banner; it is disclosed here for transparency.

4. Error Monitoring

Sentry detects and reports crashes so they can be fixed. It sets no cookies and runs under our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and stable. Governed by the Sentry Privacy Policy.

Third-party analytics such as Google Analytics are not used on this site. If that ever changes, such tools set cookies that require consent, and they would load only after you accept through a cookie banner.

5. Managing Cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Clearing this site's data removes the measurement cookie; the strictly necessary cookie is required for sign-in to work.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time and will post any changes here with a revised effective date.
